Merry Christmas!

So, about the subject line, today is Christmas! My district, McKade's district, and one other district have all gotten super tight, and we decided since we won't be together for Christmas, to celebrate it on the 25th of August! We sung Christmas hymns for Christmas Eve yesterday and again today! We even did a secret santa exchange. It has honestly been super fun, and a great opportunity to think about Christ. We are trying to focus on Christ in out studies to celebrate and it is awesome!! That's why I love this place, where else would something like this happen!?     Today is my halfway point in the MTC. It is crazy, because I feel like I have been here forever, and I feel like I just got there. And I want to be in Tahiti so bad, but I don't feel near enough ready. It will definitely be weird and sad to have McKade and his district leave in about a week, but I am pumped for him! This is truly the Lords work, and we are going to have the opportunity to bless live

I cannot believe how fast time is going. It honestly feels like last P day was just a couple days ago. I think it helps that I am super busy and that I have something to look forward to pretty much every other day. From Friday, I look forward to Sunday, because those are the best, then I look forward to the  Tuesday  devotional, then I look forward to the new Elders  on Wednesday , then P day is just right around the corner! And I totally enjoy class and study time on normal days, so it is great here! It is definitely hard work, and I go to bed and wake up exhausted, but it is worth it. The spirit here is so strong, and my district is literally the absolute best!       So some of the lessons with investigators this week have been great. Our old investigator is now our teacher, and she went to Tahiti three years ago on her mission and she is super fun to talk to about Tahiti! Now we teach both of our teachers as two separate investigators. So pretty much every day they teach u
Ok, no lie, I love it here. My district is honestly the bomb! The elders in my room are so fun to be with and I love spending time with them (which is good considering that's all I ever do). The elders in my room are Elders Taylor, Miller, and my companion, Elder Ashworth. It is pretty nice having a six person room for four people. Elder Taylor is the ultimate optimist and it is impossible not to be happy around him. Elder Miller is super smart and way funny. You would not believe the way pun opportunities explode when you are learning a second language. And my companion is so nice and he has a super contagious laugh. I love it! All three of those elders are also amazing singers. We will randomly break into song all the time and there will be an amazing four part harmony going. It's a win win that I don't know how to harmonize, because they all want to and someone needs to get the melody, so it works great for me!        I am gonna give a quick run through of a typical

Hi guys! The MTC has been crazy, but so awesome. I already love it here. They are not messing around though! I went to bed so tired on Wednesday and on Thursday, and I probably will again tonight. And more crazyness, I am teaching my first investigator tonight! In French!!! You can probably imagine how terrifying that is, but I am also pumped. I can't believe how much french I have already learned. Listening to all the Elders who are going to Tahiti who have been here for six weeks talking in french gives me tons of confidence. It is a lot of work but the payoff is amazing!          I have been so blessed with an awesome district and an AMAZING companion. My companion is named Elder Ashworth and he is super cool. He is from Boise Idaho and just finished his first year of college at BYU. I think he is the only Elder in my district not straight out of high school, and it is awesome to see his maturity from just one year away from home. He was called to be the district leader (
