NOTE FROM HOLLY - HERE IS A SMALL PARAGRAPH FROM BRADEN'S SMALL E-MAIL THIS WEEK! HE DID SEND LOTS OF PICTURES, YAY! The sector kind of took some steps backwards, but its alright, thats how it goes. Also, way cool experience I had. For an old ami, I got to go see her baptism! And since the font was dirty, she was baptized in the ocean! It was awesome, we went out, and it was dumping rain, and by the time the baptism was over it was sunny, pretty cool. Then for Sunday I got to go back and give her the holy ghost. It was so sweet going back to my old ward. I saw a lot of amis, some I didn't think were ever gonna make it to church, so that was epic. Even though our baptism fell through, we had a pretty good time.

Hey y'all! Had another great week here in Tahiti! Life is great and it is soo beautiful here! So, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but don't be expecting group emails that often from now on. Not gonna be able to whip those out like I used to, but if y'all want to hear from me, I respond to emails ;) Love you all, have a great week! NOTE FROM HOLLY - APPARENTLY BRADEN IS TIRED OF TRYING TO KEEP US ALL ENTERTAINED WITH HIS GROUP E-MAILS. I WILL TRY TO COPY AND PASTE FROM THE E-MAILS HE SENDS TO US. THIS WEEK HE ANSWERED A FEW QUESTIONS I ASKED. HOW DO YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR COMPANION? 1. My companion is way funny. I always tell him I worked so hard to be less sarcastic during my whole mission, and he came in and ruined all of my progress. He reminds me a lot of my trainer actually. WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR CHRISTMAS DAY? 2. We will go caroling as a zone during the afternoon. And we have a big dinner planned with some members, but othe

This week was great! We got to go to the temple, and it was amazing! This is only my third time, and oh boy am I going to make it a priority after the mission. All of you who can should try to go at least once a week, and those who can't should prepare to be able to! Nothing is better than the temple! The one bummer about going to the temple is that the next p-day is only until 2:00. So don't have a ton of time, sorry! I love you all, Tahiti is beautiful, this computer doesn't send pictures. Have a great week and start celebrating Christmas now! Make the season last! Bisous!

Wow the pictures loaded fast today! I would have taken more had I known. Anyway, saw lots of people make comments about thanksgiving. Totally spaced that holiday. Pas grave, we eat pretty well here most days anyways. One thing you notice as a missionary, is that missionaries who have been out a long time just seem kind of tired. They are still great missionaries, they are just tired. Definitely not there yet, hopefully never, but......... Kind of starting to feel that way about writing emails. I used to try to be so clever.... Anyways, pretty good week. One of the best beaches on Tahiti is in our sector, killer place to study. We went there last P-day just to walk on the sand and check out the waves, watch people surf, but after about an hour we had to leave because it was just so hard not to jump in the water. Love you all, love the church and I love my Savior Jesus Christ! Have a great week! Pretty sweet sunset over the beach in our Bishops backyard!
Transfers! / Sent Nov. 19, 2018

I don't have a ton to write this week, so my plan was to just send a bunch of pictures home. That way I don't have to write as much, and since you all prefer the pictures anyway, it would be a win win. But this computer decided not to agree. Pas grave. So for transfers things are finally getting normal. I am gonna stay with Elder Clarke and finish his training, and Elder Mare is getting transfered. It's gonna be sad seeing Elder Mare go, but I'm happy to be with just one companion, and me and Elder Clarke get along really well. I literally can't think of anything to write. Have a great week.

I noticed that my brother always puts things directly for me in his group emails. I thought about doing the same thing for him, but since a lot more people read my emails, I'm not sure if it would be as appropriate. Sorry bro, guess I'm gonna have to hold off on that one. Anyway, now that I'm done being dumb, this was a great week! It was pretty stressful at points, but it was a lot of fun. Being with two new missionaries, one who started last week and hasn't been to the MTC, and one who started last week, is pretty crazy, luckily they are both superstars, so it works out really well. This sunday we were in charge of the program for the sacrament meeting, the lesson during sunday school, and a little activity/lesson for a fireside. Everything went really well, I felt the help of the spirit, but that morning was a bit stressful for me. Luckily life is awesome, and... enough said! Can't think of much else to write, transfers are next week and I'

Well, this week definitely felt a little nuts. I will try to sum it up the best I can. Wish me luck! The hardest part of this week was having to say goodbye to Elder Hurd. He had to go home this week and it was really hard to see him go. But I have to give him a huge shout out for being a great missionary, even though he was dealing with a lot of stuff we didn't even know about, and I am sure he will be able to come back one day and kill it as a great missionary. Me and Elder Clarke have been doing good though, and we thought we were going to finish out the last two weeks of the transfer like that, but nope, plot twist! The assistants called and let me know that later today I am going to go get another companion, someone who is waiting for a visa. So starting later today I will be in a trio again, with a tahitian who probably doesn't speak english, and Elder Clarke who is still learning french, so that's gonna be an experience. Just when I thought my transfe

Hey everybody! Holy cow what a week, so much to write and not a lot of time. Also, I decided that pictures is better that words, so voila. We went on an epic hike today, and actually got kind of lost and spent a good hour wandering through the jungle. That was awesome. Unfortunately I had a pretty epic fall and my camera fell out of my pocket into the river. Ya... not gonna be sending any new pictures anytime soon. Oh well, lifes good. Also, Saturday was epic. It was one of those days where every time something falls through (which was often), God put something even better in our path. I felt extremely close to the spirit and we were able to have a super powerful lesson with an investigator who we hadn't felt was that potential before. Life is great, miracles happen, God answers prayers, so talk to him!!!!! Love you all and have a great week!

Hey everyone! It has been an awesome few weeks, definitely tricky, but super fun. As usual, I can't think of what to write when the time comes, but I will try my best. So, my new companions are great. Elder Hurd is super smart, and Elder Clarke is one of the funniest people I have ever met, we all get along pretty well. Also, being with two new missionaries sure brings lots of laughs. Life is great. I also had my birthday this week! I turned 20, which is pretty crazy. Last birthday I was with my trainer, and this birthday I'm the one training. The members who fed us hooked me up with a cake, so good times. Also, there is a way cool surfing beach in our sector with black sand. So for my birthday we got up early and ran to the beach and watched the waves. That was awesome. One cool miracle was that after a lesson one day, we came back to the bikes and Elder Hurd had a flat tire. We didn't really know what to do, because all of our repaire stuff was at
