Thanks a million for the email! Sounds like life is a party over there! Wow Megan and Dawson are growing up like crazy! It is gonna be nuts when we all get back together, so much fun. Soeur Battezzato leaves tonight, and she started with us. She actually started 3 weeks after because she already knew French, so it's weird seeing her leave. I am in no ways ready to leave, I still feel like I have so much to do here.  Today was nuts! We had transfers, and we drove all over getting peoples stuff and dropping it off. It was pretty stressful going all through the city not really knowing where I was with tons of bags and bikes in the back of the manual truck, but we survived without any accidents! We literally spent hours in the car though, EFY music is only good for so long...   Thanks to transfers, I don't have a ton of time to write emails, but I will let you all know that nothing changed with me and Elder Brown, so that's great news! Elder Danielson will get a compa

18 Months!?! / Sent Feb. 4, 2019

Got to go see the baptism of an old ami! Perks of being zone leader in the zone you already served in. Wow time has been flying!!!  I decided to send out a little update, seeing how it has been a while. I hit 18 months last week, and that was weird. The amount of time between now and when I celebrated one year feels like nothing, so that terrifies my for what the next six months are gonna feel like. Poor Soeur Battazzato who started with us leaves next week. Weird!   Anyway, life is going great here in Papeari! I am serving with Elder Brown, one of the best people to walk the face of the earth, so can't really complain, Papeari is also one of the prettiest parts of the island, so life is good. Our zone is also putting up really good numbers, too many blessings!   Me and Elder Brown have been planning a missionary fireside with the stake, and holy cow that was stressful. We had it yesterday, and I was pretty stressed, but it ended up going really well. There

Laorana tatou! This week was probably the craziest week of my whole mission!! Holy cow it was nuts!! There is an Elder in our house who is sick, and it's getting kind of serious, so I took him to the doctors at Punaauia, about 30 minutes away, 4 times this week, then to Papeete, about an hour away, on Saturday. I have basically been driving everyone on splits because my companion never took the mission driving test. It's been weird, but an adventure. Nothing like getting lost in Papeete, I don't know if you knew, but there is no such thing as addresses in Tahiti, so finding places is basically impossible. But life is great!   I'm gonna send a lot of pictures out today, and I will send a nice big group email next week for my 18 month mark, so that's about it for today, but one question for the whole family. I have realized I am gonna have to start actually thinking about what to do with my life soon, and I have no idea, I would love it if everyone could send m

NOTE FROM HOLLY-  THIS IS JUST A SNIPPET FROM THE E-MAIL BRADEN SENT HOME TO THE FAMILY THIS WEEK.  HE SOUNDS BUSY AND HAPPY! Life here is great!! Me and Elder Brown are having a party! We actually have a decent amount of stuff to do as zone leaders. We had an all day meeting in Papeete thursday, had to drive some missionaries to the doctors wednesday, and had to help the sisters get clean water, replace a car tire and a bike tire, so ya its kind of a lot. It's weird not being able to focus as much on the sector, but at the same time its fun being able to help every one. We also get to see the stats of the whole mission every week when we put the reports in, so thats cool. And we had a meeting with the Stake president to plan missionary work, that was cool too.  One funny story, is all the missionaries have brick phones, except the zone leaders, they get smart phones. But President talked with the interegion guy, and apperently since our mission isn't an i pad miss

NOTE FROM HOLLY :  Mostly only pictures sent this week.  I think Elder Braden Kerr is happy and busy and tired of trying to be clever in big group e-mails.  He loves his new companion, Elder Brown whom he says is one of the most Christlike people he knows.  He also made Christmas cookies without any measuring cups -- Impressive!

Happy New Year! / Sent Dec. 31st

Sooooo, news for the week!! Transfers baby! I'm bouncing out, but not very far away. I'm actually staying in the same zone, but now I am going zone leader and I'm gonna be just a couple sectors over. All my transfers are just a couple over, its pretty funny. But I'm hyped, I get to still see elder clarke, and my new companion is Elder Brown, and he's the best!! So pumped to serve with him, he started with me.   Also, Saturday was the best! We had a baptism for a cute little 9 year old girl named lorelei. It was Elder Clarkes first baptism, and he got to baptise her, and it was his birthday!! Pretty stellar way to end the transfer if you asked me. These two transfers in Mahaiatea have been the best. We came here in a whitewash and there were only two lessons fixed for the week. Now we had a baptism, and three other ones fixed for the future. And a ton of work going, it was been so rewarding to see the change here after all the work we have been putting
