The Sun Stayed in Cumorah -- Sent Feb. 12th, 2018

Well, it has literally rained every day this transfer, about two weeks. And when it rains, it rains! Holy cow! And biking in the rain is quite the adventure. Apparently a rain coat doesn't keep your pants dry on a bike. Hm. Also, Haamene is officially the bike killer. With all the rain and mountains, my brakes are already about dead, same with my companion's. After he slid out going down one of the hills, we decided we are going to need to walk down them instead of ride down them. Which is good because my brakes are dying really quickly. Mais c'est pas grave.   This week was pretty sweet, but I can't actually think of anything specific to share. It was an awesome week just because I'm a missionary out here on Tahaa! No stories needed.    I guess I will just wrap up with my testimony. Over the first two transfers, I read the book Jesus the Christ , and it was amazing. It taught me so much. Haamene! Send February 5, 2018

Me and Elder Ballsteadt, my new companion.   Well, just finished off my first week in Haamene! It has been pretty awesome, I already love it here. It is so beautiful, I am so glad I get to look at the other side of the Pacific Ocean now, great change of scenery from the other side of the island :).   I have a lot of random things to share, so I am going to try my best to not say too An awesome shirt a member here gave me. much, but still send some good stories. First thing I wan't to share is that Tahitians are really bad at guessing ages. We always ask them to guess our age because it is pretty funny, and I got a new high and low this week. The guesses ranged from 16 to 35. I know that sounds a little far fetched, but to be fair the lighting wsa really bad for the guy with the crazy guess, I'm sure if he had a better view he would have said something higher than 16.   One thing that is really funny is that all of the members here love American missionaries,
