The Sun Stayed in Cumorah -- Sent Feb. 12th, 2018
Well, it has literally rained every day this transfer, about two weeks. And when it rains, it rains! Holy cow! And biking in the rain is quite the adventure. Apparently a rain coat doesn't keep your pants dry on a bike. Hm. Also, Haamene is officially the bike killer. With all the rain and mountains, my brakes are already about dead, same with my companion's. After he slid out going down one of the hills, we decided we are going to need to walk down them instead of ride down them. Which is good because my brakes are dying really quickly. Mais c'est pas grave.
This week was pretty sweet, but I can't actually think of anything specific to share. It was an awesome week just because I'm a missionary out here on Tahaa! No stories needed.
I guess I will just wrap up with my testimony. Over the first two transfers, I read the book Jesus the Christ, and it was amazing. It taught me so much. And just this week I have started reading the New Testament, and I can understand it so well now after reading Jesus the Christ!! The spirit I have felt and the things I have learned are incredible, and I am still in Matthew! Basically, I just want to bear testimony that Jesus is the Christ, he atoned for all of us and if you ever have any doubts about it, just study the scriptures and the spirit will testify of the truth!
Love you all, have an AMAZING week!

PICTURES: We biked the island today for a P-day activity (Took just over three hours, at least it would have if we didn't keep stopping) Here are some pictures from it. I love the one with the signs. How cool of a name is Faaaha? It would be so cool to say you live in Faaaha, Tahaa. Gotta love Tahitian.
