Got to go see the baptism of an old ami! Perks of being zone leader in the zone you already served in.
Anyway, life is going great here in Papeari! I am serving with Elder Brown, one of the best people to walk the face of the earth, so can't really complain, Papeari is also one of the prettiest parts of the island, so life is good. Our zone is also putting up really good numbers, too many blessings!
Me and Elder Brown have been planning a missionary fireside with the stake, and holy cow that was stressful. We had it yesterday, and I was pretty stressed, but it ended up going really well. There were a pretty decent amount of people who showed up, quite a bit of amis, and some amazing musical numbers, there is a lot of talent out there. There was even one lady who showed up who has never taken the lessons who felt the spirit so strongly she said she might want to get baptized! If that whole fireside was just for here, totally worth it!
I never knew that they grow with the packaging. |
Anyway, life is great, we are crazy busy and we are gonna be in a trio for this next week because one Elder ended up having to go home. This has been one of the weirdest transfers of the mission, but it has also been a ton of fun.
I have been studying a lot about charity recently, and it has been pretty enlightening. President Bednar made the challenge to take a question, and read the whole Book of Mormon searching for an answer, and then when you are done, start again with another question. I have been doing that for charity and it is incredible. I have found that charity is selfless, and sin and pride is selfish. Also, Christ is the perfect example of charity. If any of you have any questions or doubts about anything, take it up in the Book of Mormon! I PROMISE that you will find the answer, over and over again, and if you don't believe me, you are just gonna have to try it!
Love you all, gros bisous! Na na!
