THE PROPHET IS COMING TO TAHITI!!!! / Sent April 15, 2019
Well, how awesome is that!!! It's confirmed! There have been rumors that the Prophet would be coming for a few months now, but seeing how many times people have told me that Trump Nuked some part of the world, I've learned not to trust the rumors that I hear. But this one turned out to be true!
We don't have a ton of details, but I will keep everyone updated. We aren't sure if all the missionaries will be able to see him, but let's keep praying for that!
Other than that we had a pretty normal week... oh wait, it was actually a crazy week!! Well, one crazy thing happened. Now, don't worry, everyone is fine, but we got in a little car crash. We got rear-ended (How ironic, it was while we were going to Papeete to get the car checked out to see how much we could sell it for). So that was
a crazy day, going to the doctor, the insurance and everything, we were in Papeete all day. And now I'm back today to get it checked out again. It takes about an hour to get here, and we will probably have to come back again, oh boy. But we are all fine, Elder Ward has a little bit of whiplash, but other than that we were really protected.
Funny story of the week. So, whenever any missionaries need stuff in the zone, they tell us, then we tell the assistants. One group of sisters asked for a new air chamber for their bike, I asked why they needed it, and they said "Well, the tire was flat, so we pumped it up, then it went flat again, so we need a new one". I was like, you know that we can fix that, don't buy a new air chamber, just let us fix it for you. They said thanks and that was that. The next day we went and were repairing the bike, and I asked them if they wanted to come and see how to fix it, so that next time they could do it themselves. They paused for a second and then informed us that they already knew how to fix it!!!! What!? Why did they ask for a new air chamber then? They said they didn't have any patches, so they thought it would just be simpler that way, and then when we offered to fix it they figured it was too good of an offer to pass up. Oh man... Funny stuff.
Love you all, have a great week!
