Transfer News / Sent July 16, 2018

The family Qui, who were some of my favorite Investigators at Haamene and who are now baptised were in town and came to visit at church! The dad wasn't able to make it but here are some pictures!
Well, we got the news for transfers and I could not be happier!! I am staying in Papara, and Elder Bennett is going to take over Maraa, so we will still be in the same house together. Then one of my all time favorite people, Elder Brown, is coming to serve with Elder Bennett, and I get to finish the training of Elder Browns son, Elder Bellows. Good times!!

This week was a little crazy. One of our Zone Leaders got transfered a week early, so I actually ended up spending most of the week on splits with the other Zone Leader, Elder Hemon. It was really fun because he is from france, and I have only ever had American companions, so it was a nice change up, he is awesome.

Well, France won the world cup! And I realized that people here in Tahiti really don't care that much. Most people here aren't actually that fond of France, and they aren't too huge on watching soccer either. Church attendence was a little low because of the game, but that's about it.

My trainer goes home today, and I got to see some other Elders who are leaving as well, and it made me realize how much I still want to get done out here. From time to time I find myself thinking about home or things I want to do when I get back, but seeing everyone leave was super motivating to me to not worry about that stuff until it comes. I'm going to give it all I've got for the year that's left!

Thanks for all the support! I love you all! (Especially those of you who email me) Go to the temple! Bye!

New companion, Elder Bellows!
