NOTE FROM HOLLY :  Mostly only pictures sent this week.  I think Elder Braden Kerr is happy and busy and tired of trying to be clever in big group e-mails.  He loves his new companion, Elder Brown whom he says is one of the most Christlike people he knows.  He also made Christmas cookies without any measuring cups -- Impressive!

 Not gonna lie, I always wanted to title an email with that, but I never really got the chance. I figure since I have one week left, that works. And voila, this is gonna be the last email that you all get from me, so I'm gonna try to make it a good one.   Alrighty, let's see, what inspirational stuff could I share from my two years in Tahiti. I'll make a list. 1)    Well, that didn't quite inspire me like I thought it would, I guess I will just keep writing in paragraphs. Honestly, I can't put in words all that I have learned and felt, but the biggest thing that I need to share is how REAL the gospel is! Had a great week this week! Serving with a French companion has been awesome, I'm gonna be so much better at French by the end of this transfer! Lots of good stuff has been happening here in Papara.   One good story for you all. We went to visit a reference that lived really far into the mountain, and when we got there, they weren't home, but they had three way cute little puppies that came out to play with us. We spent a couple minutes with them and then went to leave, but they would not go back home! We tried everything, we tried blocking their path, we tried running, but they just followed us everywhere we went. Finally we decided to walk back to the car, which was about halfway up the mountain to the house, and we went their and just waited to see if they would go home. Finally after sitting in the car for a while they started going back, so we drove away. But then near the bottom I saw them in the rear view mirror chasing us! Two Week Catch Up!

  Hey!!!! Sorry I missed last week, things were crazy. We went to Raiatea way early for a hike, and we were supposed to catch the  3:30  boat home, but we didn't finish the hike until 4. So we made the  5:00  boat and weren't back to Tahaa until after 6. We had to rush to a dinner appointment and that pretty much sums it up! But the hike was beautiful! There is one type of flower that is only on that island, they can't get it to grow anywhere else in the world. But it wasn't bloomed or something like that, so we didn't actually see it, so now I am questioning why I even mentioned it. Oh well. Happy Birthday Elder Kerr   Well, I guess I will give a little rundown of last week, if I even remember what was last week and what was this week, it all kind of blurs together. My birthday was great, thanks everyone for the emails! We made crepes for breakfast, and scrambled eggs and frozen hamburger for lunch, so that was pretty fancy to say the least....
