NOTE FROM HOLLY :  Mostly only pictures sent this week.  I think Elder Braden Kerr is happy and busy and tired of trying to be clever in big group e-mails.  He loves his new companion, Elder Brown whom he says is one of the most Christlike people he knows.  He also made Christmas cookies without any measuring cups -- Impressive!

 Hey y'all! Had another great week here in Tahiti! Life is great and it is soo beautiful here!   So, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but don't be expecting group emails that often from now on. Not gonna be able to whip those out like I used to, but if y'all want to hear from me, I respond to emails ;)   Love you all, have a great week! Bye Bye Barbados

 Hey everybody! This week has been awesome, and kind of totally crazy! I want to start with a kind of funny story. So there are two missionaries who are going to Tahiti, but they already knew French, so they only got here three weeks ago, and have been in a different district and zone from us, but will join us on Monday to learn Tahitian. But since their whole district was getting ready to leave this weekend, they were told to come and join our class yesterday. They didn't know that we didn't have class though, we had service, so they spent about three hours all alone trying to find us. And here's the funny part, one is an Elder, and the other one is a Sister. Since they didn't have companions, they were supposed to hook up with us right away so they wouldn't be alone. But since they couldn't find us, they were stuck in the situation where they couldn't be alone, but they couldn't be together either. Basically they spent the whole time awkwardly walki...

The Sun Stayed in Cumorah -- Sent Feb. 12th, 2018

Well, it has literally rained every day this transfer, about two weeks. And when it rains, it rains! Holy cow! And biking in the rain is quite the adventure. Apparently a rain coat doesn't keep your pants dry on a bike. Hm. Also, Haamene is officially the bike killer. With all the rain and mountains, my brakes are already about dead, same with my companion's. After he slid out going down one of the hills, we decided we are going to need to walk down them instead of ride down them. Which is good because my brakes are dying really quickly. Mais c'est pas grave.   This week was pretty sweet, but I can't actually think of anything specific to share. It was an awesome week just because I'm a missionary out here on Tahaa! No stories needed.    I guess I will just wrap up with my testimony. Over the first two transfers, I read the book Jesus the Christ , and it was amazing. It taught me so much.
